Here you’ll find all the dates and activities of Freshers’ Week at a glance.
Monday, October 5
8 to 9:30 AM Arno-Esch lecture hall, Ulmenstrasse 69
- Introduction event by the General Student Advisory Service
10:30 to 11:30 AM main lecture hall of MSF, Albert-Einstein-Str. 2, Südstadtcampus
- Greeting by the Dean/Program Dean
- Presentation of the faculty (Language Center, Student Association MAFIA, VWI, VDI, ST-Club)
We, the student council, invite you to a barbecue afterwards.
From 1 PM
Presentation of the study programs
- Bachelor "Maschinenbau" with Prof. Falkenstein at the main lecture hall
- Bachelor "Biomedizinische Technik" with Prof. Grabow at SR 112 and from 3 PM visit to the Institute for Biomedicine. Technology in Warnemünde
- Bachelor "Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen" with Prof. Sender at SR 111
- Bachelor "Mechatronik" with Prof. Aschemann at SR 110A

- How to organize during your studies (held in German)
- Introduction of the student council, the student teams 'Hanseatic Efficiency' and 'Waterbike'

- How to organize during your studies (held in English)
grouping and distribution of the freshman booklets upon leaving the lecture hall
12 PM to 1 PM main lecture hall of MSF, Albert-Einstein-Str. 2, Südstadtcampus
- Lunch break - food and drinks will be provided
Afterwards: City rally to the locations of MSF and the university
